As a mother, I know it’s every parent’s worst nightmare to see their child sick and struggling to take their medicine. With dōsitz, we have found a way to help. Our mission is to provide parents and caregivers with smart solutions to administering medication to children.
As a working mom of two young children, I often found myself having to administer liquid medicines for the occasional ear infection, strep throat, or just a random fever, during the night. Although different artificial flavorings in medicine and mix-ins attempt to mask the taste, the struggle was real. It was a battle each and every time, and I dreamt of a way to make the process easier for both me and for my children.
Over time, I was able to make this dream a reality. Initially developed in my kitchen, with the help of my son and daughter, testing and tasting until the result was just right. dōsitz was born!
I devised a patent-pending process to coat the rims of standardized dosage cups with all-naturally flavored, fruity crystals. When your child takes her medicine, the crystals transfer to the lips and tongue, chasing away the harsh taste.
dōsitz are marked with standard measurements, helping parents, caregivers, and pediatricians provide a tasty, safe and foolproof way to administer liquid medication to kids!
